The welders dictionary is meant for those who are just starting their wleding journey. Please note that for existing & professional welders, some expressions are self-explainatory and therefore, they feel that it shouldn't or that they don't need to be explained. As a result, those expressions (or words) will be added to the welders dictionary later than the others.
1 . Read the Global Forum Rules.
2. Check if your welders expressions and/or word hasen't been posted already. There is an index thread of all posted expressions and/or words.
3. Make sure that your expression/word is welding-related and not board-related.
4. Do not submit any expressions/words that are already posted. If you feel that an expression/word is not accurately or clearly explained, you are welcome to post an extension to the exmpalantion to that expression/word by replying to its already existing thread.
5. Be as descriptive as possible when compiling the explanation to your welding or welding-related expression/word. Include as many information about the given issue as possible.
6. If using external links in your explanations of your expressions/words, make sure that the website you're linking to is safe and harmless. If it is not, find a safe and secure website that contains the same information.
